One Hand SKS Mag Change

Short video showing how to effectively and efficiently change a Tapco SKS detachable magazine. In order to do this as demonstrated, you must have done the drop free bolt mod to your SKS and installed a Tapco extended magazine release. You also will need Tapco or other detachable magazines.

Conducting a small social experiment,…

With all the recent posts on facebook about how “they’re charging due to the new profile changes” and all the cute little stories about the kid in line to pay for the doll for his dead sister, I wondered. Will people copy anything into their status if worded properly? Have the general population lost enough of their critical thinking skills that they can no longer do so when it is obvious and starring them in the face?

Lets find out. Shall we? I am going to put a status on facebook, and see how many people copy it and put it on their wall. Of course doing anything but ignoring the status will prove that they are the opposite of basically everything the status says,…

The text of the status;

*** ATTENTION ***
I AM AN INTELLIGENT, LITERATE ADULT. I AM A FREE THINKER AND FULLY CAPABLE OF CRITICALLY ANALYZING INFORMATION AND FORMING MY OWN OPINIONS. I DO NOT NEED ANYONE TO THINK FOR ME, OR TO TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD THINK OR SAY. MY THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ARE MY OWN. SPREAD THE WORD THAT WE WILL THINK FOR OURSELVES AND DO NOT NEED THE CORPORATIONS OR CORRUPT GOVERNMENTS OF THE WORLD TO MAKE OUR CHOICES FOR US. IF YOU AGREE, COPY THIS INTO YOUR STATUS. IF YOU ARE NOT A FREE THINKER AND PREFER YOUR DECISIONS AND OPINIONS TO BE MADE FOR YOU, DO NOTHING.

Lets see how long this takes to get back to us. Shall we?

Firefox – Linkification Update

With the next new Firefox “rapid release” version being available, Linkification has broken yet again. So, here is an update modded to work with version 6 of FF. Linkification “Converts text links into genuine, click-able links.

I have modded a new version of this add-on to work with Firefox 6 until the developer can make an official release.

If you trust me, simply download and install. If you don’t here’s how to make your own version.

1.) Download the latest version of linkification from the developer site.
2.) Open the .xpi file with something like 7-Zip and extract the install.rdf file to your desktop.
3.) Open the file in a text editor capable of doing so. I used Notepad++
4.) Change the following line from, “< em:maxversion>4.0.*< /em:maxversion>” to “< em:maxversion>6.0.*< /em:maxversion>“.
5.) Replace the install.rdf file in the xpi file with your modified one.
6.) Go to your Firefox extensions panel and install from file, browse to where you put the .xpi file and your off and running.
